In the holy month of Kartik, which is very dear to Shri Hari, one who bathes early in the morning (before sunrise) attains the religious merit (punya) of bathing in all places of pilgrimage [Padma Purana, Brahma Khanda].Pujya Bapuji has advised that in case, one is unable to do this for the entire Kartik month, he should try to ensure that he bathes before sunrise in the last 3 days of the month (Trayodashi, Chaturdashi & Purnima). This also affords the same religious merits as bathing before sunrise during the entire Kartik month.The last three days of the Kartik month this year are from Saturday, 31st Oct'09 - Monday, 2nd Nov'09. All sadhaks are advised to take benefit of these three days (by bathing prior to sunrise).
